Sherlock Holmes - A
Guy Ritchie and Robert Downey Jr. take the classic story of Sherlock Holmes and give it some attitude. Downey shows why he is one of the best actors of this generation giving some style to the great detective. Jude Law gives a fun and adventurous rendition of Dr. Watson. The directing is great as is the writing. This is definitely a must-see, as will be its inevitable sequel.

Avatar - A+
Avatar is one of the few movies big budget action movies that actually lives up to its hype and expectations. While the story isn't exactly original, the visuals are absolutely stunning as it takes 3-D to a whole new level. This movie must be seen in 3-D, as waiting until it hits DVD will just be doing it an injustice. James Cameron proves that this was worth the 10 year wait (as he wrote the script just after Titanic). This will probably go down as the highest grossing movie of all-time, and it's worth every penny.
